Offering Beginning to Advanced Piano Lessons to Students of All Ages

Carol Smith has over twenty years experience teaching private and group piano lessons to students of all ages. She is currently the Music Instructor at the University of Denver’s Ricks Center for Gifted Children, where she teaches preschool through 8th grade.


Ms. Smith has a degree in Piano Performance and has studied at the graduate level with Leonard Mastrogiacomo at Florida State University and Alice Rybak at the University of Denver.  She has also studied with Dr. Stephen Smith at Carthage College, as well as Edith Oppens and Samuel Lipman at the Aspen Music Festival.

In addition, Ms. Smith is a licensed Musikgarten instructor and participates in Orff training courses as well as gifted education courses.
